We all want you to feel comfortable here,to make the site more accessible for the new posters and more convenient and enjoyable for all posters.
To achieve this, we need to set out few rules. Few of us like the idea of having rules (despite that this lifestyle is based on strict and clear rules), but they are needed. Be advised, these rules are not all inclusive because we will not be able to conceive of all the ways a determined troll (or less than thoughtful innocent) could get it wrong. So do not say to yourself that. This thing is not against the rules, so it is allowed, please - use common sense. The forums' Administration will ALWAYS act in the best interest of the board. If that means a judgement call in the absence of a specific rule, so be it. Furthermore, remember this: If you like having few rules, behave. The natural result of bad behavior is more rules. 1. You're not allowed to post any contact information. No e-mails, phone numbers, web addresses, AIM/YIM/ICQ nicknames and numbers. Posts containing such information will be deleted. Continous posting of such information will get your account deleted. 2. Treat other members with respect. This lifestyle has innumerable variations, and what appeals to one might repulse another. We are making every effort here to have a community in which all of us can co-exist peacefully. Your responsibility is to minimize conflict by phrasing your comments in such a way as to not be an attack, flame, or troll against another member directly. If this happens to you, report it to a mod or administrator and let us correct the offender, do not try to always get the last word in or you may find that both of you are in hot water. 3. The different forums are there for a reason. Before you post, take the time to look over the forum titles and choose the proper place for your thread. They are all pretty self-explanatory. Doing so saves the mods the time it takes to move your misplaced thread, but more importantly it minimizes conflicts between members. 4. Do not troll, flame, bait, or stalk. Either other posters or particular subjects. This goes back to the first rule. But I want to be clear: whether or not you are breaking this rule is up to the SOLE judgement of the Administration. If we think you are flaming, you are flaming for the purpose of these rules. 5. DO NOT bump old threads. If a thread has had no activity in the last six months it is DEAD. Leave it alone. IF you want to refer to an older thread, make your comment and include a LINK to the old thread. IF you started a post like Meet us or something like that thread and it more than six months old, simply repost the same info in a new thread...you gain nothing important by bumping the old one. 6. NO illegal stuff! Posts describing and/or including photos/movies and/or drawings depicting sex with children, especially abusive sex, are PROHIBITED. This prohibition includes descriptions and/or photos/movies depicting sex, especially abusive sex, with teenagers younger than 18. Posts including descriptions and/or photos/movies depicting abuse of women, including but not limited to torture and/or beatings, are also PROHIBITED. Posts perceived to be in violation of these forum rules will be deleted by the forum owner or a moderator. Posters of prohibited materials may be permanently banned from this forum.
